Affordable Homeless Housing Alternatives Inc

AHHA uses grassroots, community-driven advocacy to offer direct services and support to unsheltered community members with no place to go. Everyone has a human right to a safe and legal place to live. They provides information, education, advocacy and policy development for affordable housing with the homeless in Humboldt County. AHHA will facilitate the implementation of these alternative housing and sheltering models by networking with private groups, nonprofits, public agencies, faith-based organizations, individual volunteers, and by partnering with the cities, county and others to ensure development and capacity building.

With over five years of operation, our mobile shower Care-A-Van has provided over 7300 showers to more than 16,500 guests throughout Humboldt County.
