Brooklyn Youth Arts and Justice

A nonprofit organization

                        Brooklyn Youth Arts and Justice

began with a simple yet revolutionary idea: to use music as a bridge between the past and the future, justice and art, silence and sound.

BYAJ is empowering youth Arts Activism!  By providing collaborative performance opportunities to student musicians as a means for engagement in social initiatives, BYAJ is empowering them to bring about change in our communities now and in the future.

We are off to a strong start, having raised funds to provide over 15,000 meals through two student-led concerts in spring 2025, and are working to expand to a 4-concert schedule during the '25-'26 school year.

Your support helps to sponsor student membership and secure venues for upcoming concerts that will focus on the issues of food insecurity and early childhood literacy.

"It feels good to know I had a small part in contributing to the community.  The act of raising money through the concert was inspiring!  It was great to bring one community together to help another (community) through art.  I would love to be a part of future events!" --Abagail, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts HS

We look forward to having you join us in the pursuit of social justice through Arts Activism.
