Every child deserves a place where curiosity is encouraged, imagination is celebrated, and learning feels like play.

For 10 years, the Children's Discovery Museum in Kelso has been a hidden gem in our community—a place where children and families can explore, create, discover, and learn together at no cost. As one of the few free educational play spaces in our area, we welcome families from across Southwest Washington and beyond, ensuring that every child of all ages has access to meaningful hands-on learning experiences regardless of financial circumstances.

Today, we are inviting our community to help us grow.

Our Arts Room inspires creativity through dramatic play, music, movement, and artistic expression. Children can perform on our stage, put on costumes in our dress-up area, create crafts, explore music, and engage in sensory play designed for infants and toddlers.

With your support, we hope to add new stage props, interactive performance materials, and creative resources that encourage even more imaginative play and self-expression.

Our Science and Space Room sparks curiosity about the world and beyond. Young explorers can travel through our imaginative space station, experiment with our wind tunnel and air levitation station, and investigate nature through microscopes and hands-on artifacts.

Donations will help us expand these exhibits with new interactive science experiences, upgraded learning materials, and enhanced opportunities for children to explore STEM concepts through play.

Our Main Exhibit Room allows children to step into real-world roles while developing problem-solving and social skills. Families enjoy our Healthy Market, Veterinary Clinic, Dental Office, Doctor's Office, and newly added Teen Medical Space.

Funds raised will help us enhance each exhibit with new equipment, updated interactive features, and engaging learning opportunities that better reflect the world children see around them.
