Heart House by the Eleanor Grace Memorial Foundation exists to ensure that no parent has to choose between being at their baby's bedside and having a safe, comfortable place to rest. Families who come to us are caring for infants with congenital heart disease (CHD) and other serious fetal abnormalities at St. Louis Children's Hospital,  and the emotional and physical weight they carry is immense. Our mission is to lift at least one burden: housing.

What makes Heart House truly unique is the kind of housing we provide. Our flagship Heart House is a single-family home, and we recently expanded with a duplex that now serves as Heart House IIA and Heart House IIB,  giving us three private units in total. All three are located in The Hill neighborhood, less than two miles from Children's Hospital. Families aren't sharing a common space with strangers or navigating a busy facility. They have their own front door, their own kitchen, their own quiet. A real home during an unimaginable time.
