Your generosity fuels real change. Every dollar helps feed a child, support a family, and strengthen our community. For 20 years, Generous Hands has provided weekly power packs to children who might otherwise go hungry. Every number below represents a real child, a real family, whose life was made brighter this year. 

• $68,418—Family Fare vouchers redeemed by Vicksburg families for essentials like bread, eggs, milk, produce, meat, and cheese.
• $12,539—Spent in food purchases from Sam's Club and South Michigan Food Bank.
• 15,073#—Received in food donations.
• $15,641—Reimbursed the Vicksburg Farmers' Market for coupons redeemed by our families for fruit, vegetables, meat and cheese.

Other Generous Hands programs:

• Blessing Boxes: "take what you need, give what you can" free pantries, restocked by volunteers several times a week
• Hygiene Packs and the Period Project—toothbrushes, soap, and menstrual products distributed to students and stocked in every Vicksburg school office
• Kids Hope mentoring—a new partnership pairing caring adults with elementary students, launching at Tobey Elementary
• Annual Backpack Bonanza and Holiday Party—school supplies, shoes, and a December celebration each year, run jointly with South County Community Services
• First Day Shoe Fund support—new athletic shoes for students at two local elementary schools, in partnership with firstdayshoefund.org
• Family Emergency Gift Cards—help for GH families facing illness, job loss, or homelessness
