Healing looks different for every young person, and our work goes beyond what happens in a therapist's office or classroom. Sometimes it begins with a conversation. Sometimes it's as simple as taking a walk, planting a seed, learning a new skill, playing outside, or finding a quiet place to breathe.

Harborcreek Youth Services is Home for the youth in our care, and every part of our campus plays a role in their healing.

HYS is located on a beautiful 60-acre campus just minutes from Lake Erie and provides our residents opportunities for movement, reflection, recreation, and time to just be a kid. Our Therapy Garden gives youth the chance to work with their hands and experience the satisfaction of watching something grow, but that's just the beginning. Walking paths, our swimming pool, athletic courts, orchard, baseball diamond, and open green spaces welcome curiosity, activity, and peaceful moments outdoors.

Harborcreek Youth Services (HYS) is a trauma-informed behavioral healthcare agency that provides a wide range of residential and in-home services to children and their families from across Pennsylvania.

For more than 115 years, Harborcreek Youth Services has helped young people and families overcome adversity and build brighter futures. Today, HYS provides residential behavioral health care for kids from across Pennsylvania who are experiencing complex trauma, mental health challenges, and significant barriers to success in addition to Multisystemic Therapy to both boys and girls based in Erie County.
