Our mission is to promote the benevolent treatment of animals and provide humane education. Founded as a grassroots organization in 2008, we celebrated our 17th anniversary this year!
Since our inception we've taken in over 6,500 animals in need and continue to help needy animals find loving, forever homes.
We operate a lost and found network, provide low-cost microchip services to our community, host adoption events, and conduct educational outreach in local schools and at community events. In addition, we operate the Second Chances Thrift Shop where all items being sold are donated to us and all proceeds go to support the animals in our care.
