UPHELD, a 501c3 organization, equips churches to care for single moms through Christ-centered community, practical support, financial assistance, vocational coaching, and loving family mentorship. Inspired by Psalm 146:9 and James 1:27, UPHELD helps churches step boldly into God’s heart for single moms and fatherless children - so these families are surrounded with hope, dignity, stability, and a path toward a stronger future.

The Problem
Single mothers often carry overwhelming financial, emotional, and spiritual burdens alone. Many are connected to churches but lack the structured, practical support needed to achieve long-term stability.

The Solution
UPHELD equips churches with a plug-and-play model to support single mothers through Christ-centered community, financial assistance, practical home and auto support, vocational coaching, and family mentorship.

We do not replace the Church. 

We do not replace existing community resources. 

We connect them.

We help the Church step boldly into the work God blesses: caring for widows and fatherless families (James 1:27).

How It Works
Inspired by scalable ministry models like DivorceCare and LifeWise Academy, UPHELD provides churches with a practical way to help single moms and their children. UPHELD stands for:
