Lexington Friends Preschool

Lexington Friends Preschool guides children to develop active and creative minds, to be compassionate toward others, to be respectful of the environment, and to appreciate the diversity of the world around them. We aim to include students from a variety of backgrounds, including socioeconomic backgrounds, providing  high-quality child care to working families. In order to expand this access, our scholarship program needs to be fully funded. Through tremendous grant writing efforts of our staff many of the school’s material needs have been met for this year, but as we break down barriers for families in different socioeconomic strata and find a way to support them, many of our identified giving levels aim to assist with the extra costs a family faces to afford a full day of care. A quarter of our students rely Kentucky state subsidies, and LFP further assists families by providing discounts and scholarships. Your gift will go a long way to guaranteeing  these students access to our research-based, self-reflective, reality-focused and Individualized programming.
