Lexington History Museum

the Lexington History Museum recently, huddled around an iPad display. One was
tapping through historic photos, totally absorbed; the other stood quietly
beside her, just taking it all in. It was simple, but powerful.

This year, as Lexington
marked its 250th anniversary, LexHistory has played a central role in the
celebration—bringing stories to life through exhibits, classroom visits,
documentaries, podcasts, and community events. We have welcomed more than 2,200
visitors through our doors thus far in 2025, each one finding their own way
into the city’s unfolding narrative.

and personal.
