Midlands Fatherhood Coalition

It is important to celebrate black philanthropy and the power of celebration, revival and mobilization of black giving. As a black led, black benefitting non-profit organization- 70% of our fatherhood participants are black, we think it is important to celebrate this special month and GiveDay8/28. Midlands Fatherhood Coalition relies on charitable giving to be able to provide life changing services to fathers which strengthens the family, positively impacting the children and helping them grow up with better out comes, such as education, economic stability and health. 

MFC is focusing fundraising efforts on programming for at-risk youth. Reality Check and Building Better Bridges is focused on helping young men ages 14-18 make positive life choices, including delaying fatherhood, for a brighter future. 

Give Day 8/28 is a very special Give Day! Our goal is $5000

 Our CEO, Angela McDuffie says,  “ With all that is going on in our world, we need to have more positive experiences. I can think of no better way than celebrating Black Philanthropy Month and Give Day 8/28. Even studies show that the result of giving is a feeling of joy!"'
