Sikh Human Development Foundation (SHDF) was set up in 1999 to help bright but financially disadvantaged students in Punjab and neighboring areas to rise to their full potential through higher education and training. SHDF has provided over 4500 scholarships since 1999.

By improving the access of under-privileged youth to higher education, SHDF seeks to minimize their frustration, anger and their potential drift to drugs, alcoholism, or crime. Every student helped is a life transformed,family uplifted, and community grown.

Your donation will help transform the lives of meritorious and needy students in Punjab by making higher professional education more affordable for them. It will financially help the promising amongst them complete professional degree courses, without which they remain unemployable.
