Silver Spring International Middle School PTSA

The PTSA is an important and energetic part of the SSIMS community.  We're committed to supporting every student, teacher, and staff member at our school. We want every student to have all they need to thrive and succeed.  Our school is truly international; we have students from over 40 countries that attend SSIMS, and our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program means that students learn about the world while developing critical thinking skills.  About 45% of the students at SSIMS are from low-income families, and our school has been working very hard to close our achievement gap.  The SSIMS PTSA is committed to helping all SSIMS students succeed by bringing resources and programming to enhance the regular curriculum and by supporting teachers as they bring creativity and innovation to their classrooms.  SSIMS has a tremendous leadership team, great staff, and amazing students and families.  Go Jaguars!
