Who Are We?

A museum, community hub, and laboratory for art and technology founded in 2020, MAD Arts facilitates visionary exhibitions and projects by individuals, collectives, non-profits, and companies. Based in South Florida with a new location in Detroit, MAD Arts is grounded in the philosophy that art and technology are tools for social good and should be made accessible. 

Our Impact

Since 2022, we have produced IGNITE Broward, a free annual festival that transforms Broward County through immersive art experiences, performances, and large-scale installations. The festival has:

• Welcomed more than 300,000 visitors
• Featured work across 7 cities throughout Broward Count
• Presented projects by more than 100 artists

Through our Art & Tech Studio Program, we provide free workshops, educational experiences, and mentorship opportunities for emerging artists and youth. The program equips participants with the tools, knowledge, and resources to grow as artists, thinkers, and creative professionals.

Since our founding, MAD Arts has:

• Supported more than 100 artists
• Provided free space and resources to more than 50 non-profit organizations
• Supported artists awarded through the Broward Cultural Division Cultural Support Grant
• Provided artists with support from concept development through production, presentation, and execution

Through exhibitions, education, festivals, and artist support programs, MAD Arts continues to build a platform where creativity, technology, and community come together.
