United Campus Ministry at UNK

A nonprofit organization

UCM seeks to connect the UNK community through Christian faith, fellowship, service and mission.

United Campus Ministry (UCM) is an ecumenical ministry to the campus of the University of Nebraska-Kearney on behalf of the following denominations: United Methodist, Presbyterian Church (USA), Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and the United Church of Christ.

UCM's dreams includes: strengthening existing programs, and developing new ministries, training and equipping students for developing their Faith, and exposing the students locally to guest speakers, retreats, and other programs to assist students in hearing God's voice.

United Campus Ministry has a strong history of preparing students for life as a Christian in today's world. We currently provide Faith building and Fellowship through programs such as Living Word Group, Food-N-Faith, Leadership retreats, Mission Trips, Bible Studies, Coffee & Chat, and Sunday outreaches at area churches. These programs encourage faith development, leadership growth, and opportunities to explore their gifts.

The Give Where You Live campaign will help UCM expand its programs to a larger number of students and also offer new programs.

Testimonials

"One of my favorite parts of UCM is the community. It has given me opportunities to meet new people, learn more about the Bible, and practice music. I especially enjoy seeing people on their way to class on Thursday mornings. I like that I always feel welcome."
