Every child deserves a place where they feel safe, seen, and supported.
At Webb Youth Services, we believe education should be a space where kids can thrive—not just academically, but emotionally and creatively. Since 2020, we have worked to remove financial barriers for children and teens in Fairfield, Litchfield, and New Haven counties, funding vital programs in music, art, martial arts, dance, and academic enrichment. Because when children are given the opportunity to explore their passions, their confidence and sense of self grow.
But we knew we needed to do more.
In 2023, we launched Webb Youth Services Education (WYSE), a middle school program designed for students who need a safe, affirming, and individualized education experience. Many of our students have struggled in their previous schools—due to lack of resources, unsupportive environments, or rigid structures that don’t accommodate their unique learning styles. WYSE is a place where creativity and curiosity are nurtured, and every child is celebrated for who they are.
WYSE is a lifeline for students who need an environment where they can grow into their best selves.
Every dollar raised through Give Local directly funds scholarships for children in financial need, ensuring that cost never stands in the way of a child’s ability to learn in a place where they are valued and empowered.
✨ Join us in creating a future where every child has access to an education that truly supports them. Your gift provides a student with the opportunity to thrive.
ABOUT US
Webb Youth Services is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization, providing funds for children in the Litchfield and Fairfield Counties of Connecticut for educational assistance, therapeutic support services, and extra-curricular activities. We open the doors that were once closed to these children, regardless of financial status, giving them the tools they need to thrive.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to open doors for as many children as possible, to achieve their educational and emotional best.
FUNDING:
We are a 100% volunteer non-profit organization and 100% of the money we raise is awarded to families that are in financial need.
OUR METHOD
Webb Youth Services volunteers work with school administration, guidance counselors, social support services, and local civic groups to make our mission known and to encourage parents to apply for funding. When a parent submits an application they explain the program in which their child would like to participate, the costs involved, and why this is important for their child's personal growth. Verification of the family’s financial need is established. All information is kept strictly confidential. If funding is approved, registration costs are sent directly to the program organization. Some of these local organizations have been very supportive of the Webb Youth Services mission.
OUR IMPACT
Keeping our focus local helps us to help our community as a whole. We support children, helping them to grow and thrive, and we support our community, which offers incredible programming for these students. Arts, therapeutic services, therapy animal work, tutoring, and more are all available hyper-locally. In the current environment, which is now geared very much toward pandemic assistance, many parents can no longer afford the cost of therapy for a child’s emotional needs or private tutoring for a child’s educational needs. We make sure that children are not suffering needlessly by connecting them with the local support that they need.
