Winchester Black History & Heritage Committee

The
mission of the Winchester Black History and Heritage Committee is to enrich the
lives of Winchester’s residents and visitors, foster communication,
understanding, and stimulate appreciation for the diversity of the African
American community experience by promoting cultural entertainment, racial
pride, and unity.

The
vision of the Winchester Black History & Heritage Committee is to create a
series of events that will collectively showcase the talents of the people who
have roots in the Winchester community. 
The intent of these events is to educate, challenge, and entertain while
providing opportunities for intellectual, spiritual, and positive social
change.
