Xceptional Heroes

Thank you for visiting Xceptional Heroes' (XH) fundraising page! You are about to make a HUGE difference in the lives of our Heroes that live with an intellectual disability (ID). XH facilitates social, recreational and skill building opportunities for adults living with an ID throughout Genesee County. XH offers a robust calendar of engaging events ranging from craft night, karaoke, bowling, socials, field trips to the Detroit Tiger's game, beach day outings, fitness and SO much more. Our Heroes are making friends, having fun and have discovered a sense of community. We are EXTREMELY excited to be embarking on initial stages of establishing a much-needed residential community, similar to what a retirement community looks like, for our Heroes. It's called, "Hero Village". Currently there is a ten year waiting list for housing for people with disabilities and that's for a placement that is not terribly inviting but with your help, XH is about to change that!
