The Kearney Family YMCA is for everyone.

The programs, services, and initiatives are focused on strengthening community through three areas of focus:
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT: Empowering young people to reach their full potential
HEALTHY LIVING: Improving individual and community well-being
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Giving back and inspiring action in our community

The Kearney Family YMCA's core programs and services include child care, swimming lessons, swim team, youth sports, creative arts, adult fitness and sports, chronic disease
prevention, education, and support.

The membership base at the Kearney YMCA has now grown to over 7,000 members.

Through the Strong Families Scholarship Campaign, the YMCA strives to make sure that financial limitations are not a barrier to having a Y membership or participating in Y programs. From Oct. 2024 to Sept. 2025 over $169,000 in financial assistance was awarded to families and children, to ensure that no one is turned away due to financial circumstances, impacting over 845 families.

The YMCA gives kids and families a safe place to call their own, to get involved, and to grow as individuals.
