Alamo Heights School Foundation

For over 55 years, the Alamo Heights School Foundation has partnered with the Alamo Heights Independent School District. The AHSF was established in 1971 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to generate stable, ongoing revenue for AHISD, thereby enhancing educational resources for both students and teachers. AHSF is the oldest public school foundation in the United States. Since its inception, with the generosity of our community, the Foundation has provided millions of dollars to meet critical educational needs of AHISD and to provide ongoing support for its teachers and students.

The Alamo Heights School Foundation’s mission is to unite our community to invest in our schools, address insufficient state funding, and empower our teachers and staff to help every student achieve their full potential.

The funds raised by AHSF help ensure that AHISD remains one of the best school districts in the state.
