The Alex House Project(TAHP) is committed to helping young parents build strong families by providing the tools, guidance, and community they need to thrive. As we close out the year, we are inviting our supporters to stand with us as we continue our mission to empower young parents and their children.

Your generosity today directly fuels a comprehensive support system designed to break cycles of poverty and open doors to independence. With your gift, young parents will gain access to parenting and early childhood development classes, workforce readiness training and employment support, and clear educational pathways toward college, certifications, and long-term careers. These core elements remain at the heart of our work because we know that when young parents are equipped to succeed, their children succeed too.

This year, our goal is to raise $100,000 by December 31, 2025!  Reaching this milestone will not only expand our direct services, it will strengthen our infrastructure by adding key staff capacity across fundraising, communications, and program support. Who We Are

The Alex House Project (AHP) is a 501c3 nonprofit, peer-led social service and leadership development organization. We support pregnant and parenting mothers living in NYC, particularly Brooklyn where we are based. Our target populations are pregnant and parenting young women of color who are directly affected by poverty and racism, including homeless youth, new immigrant youth, and parenting youth in foster care. Our mission is to increase long-term family-sufficiency by providing a safe and nurturing environment for parent education and leadership development with support to access higher education and the workforce.
