ARTS CONNECT offers a dynamic slate of programs that celebrate the arts and build community. 

Our bi-weekly ART THROB PODCAST features conversations with local artists and arts leaders; PAINT THE TOWN and PAINT THE PARK invite artists of all levels to create outdoors in downtown and park settings; REIMAGINE pairs drawings done by Fayette County elementary students with professional artists' reinterpretations - both of which are exhibited with a fundraising auction that benefits participating schools and artists alike; the masked INCOGNITO ART BALL brings mystery and social energy to an anonymous art-auction gala; the annual ARTS AWARDS LUNCHEON honors exemplary contributions across visual, performing, literary and educational arts, and philanthropy; OPEN STUDIOS WEEKEND provides an opportunity for artists to showcase their work and share their creative spaces with a curious public; and the ART WALKS offer informed guided tours of downtown Lexington's vibrant art scene.

In addition to these signature events, ARTS CONNECT supports artists through its online ARTS SHOP, and the MOBILE GALLERY program which places rotating exhibitions of Kentucky artists' work in business and institutional venues, as well as a monthly newsletter that shares calls for artists, upcoming events, and opportunities in the arts community.  Together, these initiatives reflect a lively ecosystem of creation, and provide support, recognition and outreach across the region.
