Betty's Brave & Beautiful Hearts Foundation

At Betty’s Brave & Beautiful Hearts Foundation, we are committed to easing the journey of women in Kentucky battling breast cancer. Each post-mastectomy and chemotherapy care kit we provide is completely free to Kentucky women, and each one costs our foundation $250 to create. In the past two years alone, we have delivered over 700 of these boxes of hope, each thoughtfully prepared to bring comfort and support during an incredibly difficult time.

Our foundation, born out of a heartfelt promise between a mother and daughter and inspired by the courageous spirit of Betty Baker, focuses on compassion and direct patient assistance. We fill the gap between the medical treatments patients receive at the hospital and what it truly takes to heal at home. The items in each pink box are practical tools women genuinely need—essentials not covered by insurance and not provided by hospitals. These are items our Founder, Rebecca Baker, learned were vital through her own double mastectomy and through caring for her mother during her battle with triple-negative breast cancer.

Our mission extends beyond the pink box. We’ve grown a warm and supportive community of women we lovingly call Betty’s Girls—a sisterhood built on courage, connection, and care. We equip these brave and beautiful hearts with the comfort, tools, and support they need throughout their journey.
