Who We Are

Since 1893, The Children's Home of Pittsburgh has supported the health and well-being of infants, children and individuals through family-centered programs. Our Pediatric Specialty Hospital helps medically fragile children transition home. Child's Way blends skilled nursing and early education for kids with complex health needs. Our Adoption and Permanency team supports children in foster care, adoptive families, and birthparents. Pediatric VIEW leads internationally in treating cortical visual impairment. Our Counseling services address growing mental health needs. Our Therapy services work with children to improve enhance mobility, daily living skills, and communication.
