Who We Are

We are a no-kill shelter serving the San Antonio area. We began in 1982, operating a humane facility for unwanted and abused animals in Converse Texas, working to place them in suitable homes throughout San Antonio. Since we are a no-kill shelter, we can only take in additional animals as others are adopted out.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization supported solely through donations, grants, adoption fees and special events. Donations are greatly appreciated and are tax-deductible. Your monetary gifts provide food, shelter, medical needs, loving care and so much more.
