Ember Charter School

More than a school, Ember Charter is a human development organization serving vulnerable communities for over a decade through direct and strategic partnerships addressing mental health and wellness, economic empowerment, educational development, college and career readiness, and emergency response to current issues impacting their families.

We are raising funds to cover the cost of a 2-week college and culture tour for our high school students.

College Tours Make A Difference:

• The National Association for College Admission Counseling found that college campus visits are particularly impactful for first-generation and low-income students


• The College Board reports that college campus visits can provide students with a better understanding of college options and help them make informed choices about their educational future


• Research on college access programs has shown that exposure to college campuses can increase the likelihood of low-income students pursuing higher education
