We Hold the Momma!

Gabriel’s Retreat Ministries is a Catholic-based retreat & support ministry for women & their families facing any type of unexpectedness in pregnancy or postpartum.

We currently provide Gabriel's Retreats for pregnant and postpartum moms three times a year and Michael's Retreats for dads twice a year at no cost. These retreats allow moms and dads the time and space they need to step back from the noise of the world to process God’s timing and plan for their lives. 

We also offer Elizabeth support which is ongoing accompaniment to our families. These programs includes: free Education Classes (infant care & lactation), Welcome Baby Meals, Diaper Drops, Mom Check-ins & visits, monthly Moms Book Club, Lenten Bible Studies, Faith & Fellowship events for Fathers, connection/partnership with other great area resources and more.

Over the past 5 years, our retreats and Elizabeth's support programs have journeyed with over 200 lives between our mommas, poppas, and their families. 

We are grateful to be able to participate in #iGiveCatholic for the past 4 years! 

2024 campaign allowed us the funds to expand childcare for retreats and book clubs and most exciting, launch a pilot of Michael's Retreat in Feb. 2025. Michael's Retreat is a retreat for fathers (expecting or has a child 2 or younger). Being able to expand our services in this way, has helped us better hold our mommas, so they can better hold their child! Thank you!

2025 Campaign helped us continue to provide no-cost Gabriel's Retreats for our mommas and permanently add bi-yearly no-cost Michael's Retreats! 

This year's campaign is seeking funds for relationships. Our biggest need is people because this ministry is relational! There are two main ways you can help us with this need

First, Volunteering to be one of our Ministry Angels:

    • Retreat Team Angels
    • Event Committee Angels

The second is being a donor Angel through this campaign. Your donations will help us towards our goal of gaining additional staff, especially a Mom Support Coordinator and a Gabriel’s Retreat Coordinator. These positions will help us to be there when our Mommas, poppas, and families need us the most. To help us be ready when they call, text or email. To be ready to drop off a meal, to give a hug, be a listening ear, be the encouraging message, say the needed prayers, or provide them the resources or services and community they need for whatever they're going through whether its emotional, spiritual, or practical. We want to help them in these moments. And being there for them takes people, it takes staff and that takes money which is funded most effectively by monthly donors! All donations, one-time or ongoing, are appreciated but monthly giving helps us budget especially when it comes to hiring/staffing. In honor of our 5 years as a ministry will you consider a monthly donaiton of $5 or $50 a month or a one-time gift of $50 or $500?
