I know from personal experience that when a job search is
this rushed, it often leads to a job-seeker accepting low-wage, high-turnover, and unsatisfying work. Furthermore,
the technology and communication demands of modern offices can feel like a
huge, confidence-breaking barrier. Without access to up-to-date, basic job
skills training, women (who are often the most vulnerable to these systemic
pressures) can easily get trapped in a destructive cycle of unemployment and
underemployment.
