STEPS Solutions That Equip People for Success

STEPS is a program that gives individuals an opportunity for a better life. It was designed to help to help those who are willing to change, by equipping them with the tools, resources, and encouragement they need. At STEPS, we believe in the dignity and worth of every person. Our job is to locate hindrance, physical or otherwise, that stand between an individual and their success and help them to rectify those hindrances however possible. STEPS not only looks at the immediate needs of the individual or family, but also at their long-term well-being. The aim is to not provide a band-aid, but to provide long term solutions.

Who We Are

Our unique approach to dealing with the underlying issues that lead to poverty and crisis sets us apart from many other programs. Many people find themselves caught in a cycle of poverty. They seek temporary help when they are in crisis, they do okay for a little while, and then they find themselves sliding back into that state of crisis because they do not have the knowledge and tools to successfully manage their time, finances, and relationships. Here at STEPS we teach those management skills, and we oversee the client for two years as they work toward their goals to ensure that the changes they make are long-term. STEPS not only looks at the immediate needs of the individual or family, but also at their long term well-being. At no cost to the client(s), STEPS provides life coaching services and a customized Life Plan to break the chains of poverty, negativity, unhealthy lifestyles, or whatever it is that is hindering the client’s success. To date, we have had 110 clients graduate from the program. We believe change is possible!
