We are proud of a workplace culture in which we foster a sense of safety, trust, and encouragement. We support our team members’ professional growth while treating them with the same compassion, respect, and care that they provide to our clients.

In addition to mental health therapy, Samaritan offers life, executive, and mental health coaching; spiritual direction; educational and wellness workshops; and Caring for Clergy and Congregations, which helps pastors and laypeople from all denominations thrive in an era of church decline.

Client Testimonials

Mindy

"I didn't know what to do. I felt I was at a point that nothing could be done. I quit my job thinking that would help, but it only made it worse.

"My husband knew our marriage was in trouble and I didn't want it to end, either. When we finally went to Samaritan, we went as a couple. Even though it was my issue, he got to go too. He was also dealing with a lot of things.

"I found peace. I found comfort. I found forgiveness and acceptance. Everyone has issues, but my issue didn't define who I was. I gained control of my life. The disorder and anxiety weren't controlling me anymore.

"I want to thank the people who contribute to this organization. Samaritan helps us get our lives back together when we're at our lowest point."

Cheryl

"I had been living a very rocky 'up and down' life. I already had two failed marriages and figured I was a screw-up. I was finally at the end of my rope.

"When I came to Samaritan, my therapist was able to see I suffered from bipolar disorder and referred me for medical treatment, too. I realized I had been suffering from bipolar disorder for the past 40 years of my life.

"In addition to learning what are normal highs and lows, I also discovered why I did the things I did and how to accept myself. My therapist's use of Christian principles in my counseling made a positive impact, too.

"Now, I have a life I never could have imagined. Samaritan literally saved my life."

Ed

"I am truly grateful for the financial help enabling me to receive counseling through Samaritan. It literally helped me change my life for the better. Through the counseling I received, I have learned how to start accepting and loving myself and how to protect myself and my own heart in caring for others."

Rebecca

"Counseling saved my marriage. It enabled me to find joy in life again and regain my confidence. What I received at Samaritan is beyond what I had found with other counselors. I am very grateful."

Anonymous

"I want to thank the Silent Samaritans for extending the financial help I needed in paying for my last therapy appointment. I really appreciate the help as I do not yet have a job and I still have my health insurance through the welfare program. Thanks for your help at this difficult time in my life."

Catherine

"When I first came to Samaritan for assistance in dealing with the torture my son had endured that ended up leading to his death, I could barely stumble through a few sentences before choking on tears. My therapist, Bob, stood beside me. Now I am able to speak about my sweet Nicholas and his story without being shredded into bits of confetti. I have gone to court sessions, faced ugly truths, and stood strong because of this wonderful organization. Thank you and well done."
