    •    Sew So Fresh, Inc. empowers youth (grades 2–12) through fashion design, sewing, and holistic education.  

    •    We integrate academic subjects — math, science, creative writing — through hands-on design.  

    •    Our social-emotional learning curriculum builds confidence, resilience, and collaboration.  

    •    Through our SSF Incubator program, students conceptualize, design, and showcase their own creations.

Our Story

Jerri Reid  (Creative Director and Founder) is a self taught designer from Brooklyn with a passion for fashion and a dedication to representing diverse communities. His experience behind the scenes in the fashion industry include prestigious events like the MTV VMAs and New York Fashion Week, as well supporting top designers like Jason Wu and Moshood. His work has also been featured on Essence Magazine online, and showcased on iconic figures like Grammy winners Stevie Wonder and Rapsody. 

A former student of the NYC public schools and driven by a passion for fashion, Jerri founded Sew So Fresh to integrate the art of fashion with the core principles of mathematics, technology, science, and literacy to create a holistic and innovative approach to learning.
