Stone Church & Meetinghouse Foundation Inc.

The Stone Church & Meetinghouse in a landmark in the
village of New Preston, Town of Washington, Connecticut. This strikingly handsome building
is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been both a sacred and a
secular gathering place since opening its doors in December of 1824.

In order to ensure the continued structural integrity of this special building
and to enhance its ability to serve our community, we are seeking funds to repair, maintain, and update the building for the long term. Our mission is to continue the tradition as a community
gathering place for historical appreciation, education, performances, weddings, and other community events.  The Stone Church & Meetinghouse has
played a significant role in the area for generations and the beginning of its third century is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on its importance and to
celebrate its enduring iconic and functional presence in New Preston.

Whether you are a long-time resident,
weekender, new to the area, or simply a friend and admirer of the Stone Church
