Taproot Farm & Environmental Education Center

We are poised to finally add our namesake “Farm and Education Center” on a 60 acre property across the river in Lunenburg, Vermont we are purchasing this summer. The Center will be used for outdoor recreation, farming and agritourism, and expanded education programs (starting this summer with summer and vacation camps and after school program while eventually adding adult educational opportunities, teacher training, and college/gap year programming). In addtion to these expanded education opportunities, Taproot will provide access to the public for walking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing on the existing 2.5 mile trail network, and will create interpretive trails, lead guided naturalist walks, and host talks, workshops, and dinners for outdoor enthusiasts. We are thrilled to finally have a property to call home and can't wait to share it with our community. It's been a long time coming!!
