The Nest - Center for Women, Children & Families

The Nest's mission is to help prevent the abuse and neglect of children and adults by supporting families in crisis through education, counseling, advocacy, and support. We have provided high-quality resources to families for more than 40 years and are committed to responding to the challenges facing them. The Nest is a lifeline- regardless of what a family looks like. Our holistic approach incorporates four free programs: (1) family assistance for basic human needs, (2) education and support for parents, (3) counseling and advocacy for survivors of intimate partner abuse, and (4) early childhood education through flexible childcare. We are proud to offer support in English and Spanish. The Nest focuses on family stabilization and healthy outcomes, reaching thousands of parents, survivors, and children each year.

Who We Are

The Nest - Center for Women, Children and Families is now entering it's 49th year of supporting women, children and families in crisis. Through four interconnected programs, we provide comprehensive services designed to strengthen and care for the entire family. Our four programs: Intimate Partner Violence Advocacy and Counseling, Parent Education and Support, Family Assistance for Essential Items, and Respite Child Care, empower families to make important changes to improve their health, wellbeing and safety. No matter the situation, families are welcomed with compassion and without judgement.
