The Woodhall School

We are learning and growing as a community, striving to live and act by the school's core values of integrity, compassion, and respect; and, as we face these challenging times, we embrace compassion, above all.

This year, we will be completing the new mathematics wing and STEM Lab because of your past, current, and future support. Yet, we still need your help. We need to imagine the remaining learning spaces on campus in order to realize the full impact of Woodhall's hallmark individualized pedagogy and to remain competitive with our peer school.

When you give to The Woodhall School, you will have an immediate and personal impact on the lives of the students and teachers at the school. The need for the transformative school experience that Woodhall provides is more profound than ever. Please consider a gift in support of our school.

Who We Are

Bright, quirky learning style, and still maturing describe our students. Structure, consistency, and fairness inform our program. Compassion, integrity, and respect define our culture.

The mission of The Woodhall School is to provide an opportunity for success to young men of above-average intellectual ability in grades 9-12, who have had difficulties in traditional school environments. The school embraces an individualized approach that allows each student to realize his potential and to take accountability in all areas of his life.

Woodhall is at once traditional and progressive. With our holistic Communications Program and intimate size – 42 students and 16 teachers – Woodhall occupies a unique place among boarding schools. Woodhall encourages a young man to develop competencies within the four pillars of the school: Academics, Residential Life, Athletics, and Communications.
