Working The Work While It's Day

Founded in 2022, Working the Work began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the crisis worsened, amid new challenges, more families and individuals found themselves unable to meet basic needs.  Parents struggled to buy food, and Title 1 schools struggled to provide basic materials needed to teach children.

Today, the pandemic may have subsided, but the duty to act in service of our neighbors remains. Working the Work While It’s Day remains committed to the same sense of urgency to provide for Title 1 schools and families. 

With your gifts:

• 
  Over 16 critical teacher wishlist requests for supplies, ensuring they have the resources to equip students with skills to excel academically.
  


• Over 2,044 students have benefitted from various supplies, including backpacks, food, and clothing pantries.
  


• Winter coats were provided in addition to normal clothing items.
