Child Guidance Center, Inc. (CGC) in Santa Ana, California, is a non-profit mental health clinic providing outpatient services for underserved children and families, specializing in trauma, abuse, and behavioral issues. They offer evidence-based therapies like Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address depression, anxiety, and other challenges, often at low or no cost, serving the Orange County community since 1967.
I have served on the Board of CGC for nearly 10 years, including four years as Board Chair. After seeing the benefits of various mental health services for our son, Jack, after autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and anxiety diagnoses, the work that Child Guidance Center does for the neediest of Orange County pulled on our heart strings.
