For the 13th consecutive year, I will be supporting Tee It Up for the Troops as we "tee it up" at the crack of dawn and play golf until sunset to honor and support our military veterans via the 13th annual Longest Day of Golf for the Troops event on Friday, June 19th, at Bunker Hills Golf Club. I am hopeful for your continued and generous donations as I join other golfers in this marathon effort.
As you may recall, "The Longest Day" was a famous book and movie (starring John Wayne) honoring those who fought for our freedom on D-Day. Thus, on the longest days of the year near the summer solstice, our Longest Day of Golf for the Troops event provides a unique opportunity to honor all those who have served and continue to sacrifice for our freedom.
Please support these brave men and women by pledging your donations through my involvement in this event. In the last eleven years of participation, I have finished over 1,000 holes of golf, and I look forward to striving for 2000 as we continue this great tradition of giving back to these American heroes!
