Thurmont Little League is having its annual fundraiser. This year we are renaming it Triple Play Day. This

is the major fundraiser for the Spring Season. This fundraiser is a great opportunity to let players

showcase their skills while it being a fun day for the whole family. Since we own and operate our facility

through our Board of Directors, and receive limited financial assistance from outside the organization,

every penny we raise from the Triple Play Day goes directly to improving the baseball experience for our

players. We appreciate your support.

This year we will be running 3 stations: Distance Smash, Bullseye Throw, and Base Burner. Each station

will provide your player with points. These points will be totaled up at the end and the top 3 in each

division will receive a prize. Please see page 4 for prize details.

Distance Smash: Each player will receive 10 hits using a tee (11 if they bring a canned good). Their

longest hit will be recorded. Majors & Minors, distance is recorded where the ball drops. Coach Pitch &

Tee Ball distance is recorded where the ball stops rolling.

Bullseye Throw: Each player will throw 10 balls into the 9-hole net. The bullseye (hole in the middle) is 3

points, the holes around the bullseye are 1 point each. Each ball that lands in the net will be counted for

points and the total amount of points will be recorded. Majors & Minors will be throwing from the

pitcher’s mound. Coach Pitch & Tee Ball will be throwing from closer.

Base Burner: Majors & Minors will have 1 chance to run around all bases. Their time once they touch

home plate will be recorded. Coach Pitch & Tee Ball will have 1 chance to run from home to 1st base.

Their time once they touch 1st base will be recorded.
