Did you know I have the hidden talent of professional dancing? I can keep a great beat, I’m super flexible and have no stage fright while dancing in front of crowds… oh wait, that’s not right. BUT what the heck.. I’ll do Dancing with the Local Stars!!! 😲
WLOS Chief Meteorologist Jason Boyer (best known for his 2019 DWLS performance while wearing eye liner👀 ) passed the torch, and I’ll be dancing in the 2020 version of Dancing with the Local Stars at the Diana Wortham Theatre on April 26th. I’ll be along side other “stars” from the Asheville community. These include doctors, dentists, small business owners and attorneys. Of course the dancing is secondary to the real competition.. raising money for a local charity.
This year we are helping to support the children of WNC who are in heart-breaking abusive homes and environments. The Mountain Child Advocacy Center relies on financial support to provide services to children at no cost to families. The work they do is amazing, and I want to help them as much as possible.
