MANRRS 40 Under 40 Giving Campaign
A nonprofit fundraiser supporting
MANRRS$1,000
raised by 17 people
I spent so much time with MANRRS and Extension in undergrad that sometimes I joke I should’ve gotten an honorary minor in agricultural education. To put it plainly—MANRRS helped me finish undergrad as a nontraditional student; it gave me a way to connect with and impact my peers and the broader agricultural community on campus, across Virginia, and the country. Being on the “related sciences” side of a College of Agriculture for undergrad, I always wanted to encourage others to think about how our attitudes, behaviors, and the ways we relate to each other (policy, geographic location, agricultural literacy, etc.) impact access to food, fiber, and fuel for families (like those 4 Fs? 😉).
I am just one of thousands that MANRRS has impacted over the past 40 years. MANRRS 40 Under 40 honorees have committed to contributing to the collective impact of MANRRS' Annual Giving Campaign, with a goal to raise or contribute $1,000 in support of MANRRS' mission. This shared investment fuels scholarships, leadership training, mentorship, and workforce development programs that prepare the next generation of talent. Together, the 40 honorees aim to raise $40,000, directly advancing opportunities for students, professionals, and communities nationwide.
Your contribution will make a direct impact on the future of food, fiber, and fuel for families (5 Fs 😏).
