Food Lifeline Greater Seattle Acts of Random Kindness

Food Lifeline’s mission is to feed people experiencing hunger today while working to end hunger for tomorrow.

Food Justice - the belief that everyone has a human right to equitable access to the nutritious and culturally relevant food that enables them to thrive - is a foundation of Food Lifeline's mission.

They provide nutritious food to hundreds of thousands of people facing hunger in Western Washington every year. Food Lifeline sources millions of pounds of donated food, including fresh produce, from farmers, manufacturers, wholesalers, grocers, restaurants, and retail locations. Volunteers inspect and repack this food and they distribute it through their own programs and in partnership with over 350 food banks, shelters, and meal programs that serve people throughout Western Washington. This efficient system allows them to distribute hundreds of thousands of meals every day to people across their 16-county service area who don’t always have enough to eat.

Greater Seattle Acts of Random Kindness is an organization that oversees local high school ARK Clubs, and works to better the Seattle community through acts of selflessness. We truly believe that it's the little things that matter.

Please consider donating; every dollar makes a difference.

With love,

Natalyia, Catie, Ayla, Grace, Tanish, Rachel, and Arthi
