David Siegel and Dishin' & Swishin's Real Men Wear Pink Page

One of the reasons I became involved with WSTRRadio.com and Swish Appeal, and created the Dishin & Swishin internet radio show, is that is gives me a forum to discuss not only women's basketball, but also the people behind the game, their stories, and their causes.

Breast cancer awareness and research is sorely in need of funds, and to be able to honor the legacy of the great Kay Yow, the Hall of Fame coach who took the disease on multiple times before it finally took her life, is something that I am truly honored to be able to do.

This year, in addition to the Pink Zone campaign at College and High School basketball games throughout the country in February, The Real Men Wear Pink initiative has been started for people like me to be able to help.  On the October 6th show, I promised Marsha Sharp, Executive Director of the Kay Yow Fund I would create my own page, and do my part to help the Fund.

I know times are difficult.  I know that we all need to stretch every penny as far as possible.  It is my hope though, that should you have a few extra dollars, you might support my Real Men Wear Pink Campaign.
