Spring 2026 Annual Fund

Our first Spring Fundraising Campaign is underway and we would love to count on your support.

EHW started with residents organizing and advocating for the clean-up and removal of an illegal dumping site on the City's East Side. This year’s Earth Day was especially meaningful as we continue to share the responsibility of protecting our spaces. We remain rooted here and creating a thriving Cleveland.

Our supporters care about the environment, health, community development and justice. Our work has grown over the last 45 years from a group of volunteers who kept watch on polluters and advocated for cleaner space and local resident involvement to building comprehensive community solutions that addresses:

• Lead mitigation in homes to prevent child asthma
• Training contractors to increase safety, affordability and electrification in homes
• Creating food access in historically disinvested areas
• Convening artists, builders, and leaders to develop local solutions
