Holiday Fundraiser For Rocket Dog Rescue

While many of us are unable to care for a dog or cat in need right now because of space restrictions, hectic work schedules, or tight budgets, all of us can take the time to donate to a local animal shelter or rescue this Holiday season and help provide hundreds of needy dogs and cats with necessities like healthcare, food, and placement opportunities. Since rescuing our Dalmatian, Jake, we've both truly grown to appreciate all those who devote so much of their time and efforts to helping abused, abandoned, or displaced animals and giving them a second chance. Rocket Dog Rescue is a San Francisco-based non-profit group that saves Bay Area dogs from overcrowded, high-kill shelters and places them in foster homes where they regain their health and social skills before making their way to a "forever home". Many of these animals have endured a very rough beginning, but with time, patience, and some extra training, most rescue dogs blossom into wonderful, loving companions.
