On May 17th, join your Deloitte colleagues and the McLean Junior Advisory Board in making a direct impact on after-school and summer programming for underserved youth at the Spring Soiree for a local non-profit hosted by Deloitte's Angel and Damon Vaccaro.
KID POWER, INC. is the only local nonprofit that provides free after-school programming and a 5- week Summer Leadership Academy, that annually reaches more than 1,000 underserved Washington, DC students. Kid Power's programs promote academic advancement, physical and emotional wellness, and positive civic engagement. They also empower local youth to become engaged leaders and responsible citizens while encouraging them to make healthy living choices.
The McLean Junior Advisory Board, a collection of Deloitte Analysts and Consultants, provides Kid Power with input on strategic initiatives such as fundraising, strategy, public relations, and partnerships. Help us give "kids power" by supporting this organization as we both continue to build stronger communities!
