Can you imagine being displaced from your home country while raising a baby? If a mom can breastfeed, she can provide a nutritious, inexpensive and consistent food supply for her baby even if they are displaced. But doing so requires support!
Join us as we support moms and babies who are displaced by the civil war in Nicaragua. Lactation supplies and educational materials will be distributed by the Maple Valley service team at the Corner of Love refugee center in July 2024. Consultations for nursing moms will be provided by team member Valerie Wiens (IBCLC), an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
