Clean air starts with trees—and not every neighborhood has enough of them.

In areas with fewer trees, air tends to be hotter, more polluted, and less comfortable to live in day to day.

Trees help clean the air. They filter pollutants, provide shade, and make streets healthier and more livable for the people who live there.

The Yaupon Project focuses on planting in overlooked spaces—like sidewalk strips and school grounds—bringing cleaner air, cooler streets, and more life back to these neighborhoods.
