The 25th Annual PlayOffs is part theater competition, part fundraiser, and all fun. So much fun, in fact, that we're celebrating its 25yr anniversary as one of Bloomington's biggest fundraisers for the arts!
Teams of writers, actors, directors, and managers create an original 3–5 minute play. Along the way they raise money to support Constellation Stage & Screen, earn special advantages through fundraising, and compete for audience votes.
Every play premieres at The World Series, our live screening and awards celebration, where one team is crowned champion.
One team emerges victorious: The World Series Champions. This is the team with the most combined votes earned through an audience ballot (popular votes) and fundraising (bonus votes). So the more money each player raises, the better the chance they have of winning the coveted championship trophy!
Help me make a fool of myself!
Yes, after decades of helping kids do this, I'm making a shameless plea for my own fundraiser....
Help me have fun! I've decided to resurrect my acting skills for a good cause. The Constellation Stage & Screen PlayOffs is part theater competition, part fundraiser, and all fun to support Constellation Stage & Screen!

Fundraising helps support this season and gives my team competitive advantages, including first choice of Curveballs: surprise creative challenges that must appear in the play. Every team drafts a set of Curveballs—surprise creative challenges that must appear in the play. Examples include: a required line of dialogue, a surprise prop, a unique performance challenge, an unexpected storytelling twist. Make a donation, and then email me to submit ideas for my team's curveballs -- imagine every script including the zinger that you suggested! Help my team win, and that happens!
You can see the finished product on 11/1/26, at The World Series, our live screening and awards celebration, where one team is crowned champion. Raise funds for Constellation and have the opportunity to see me performing whatever is yet unwritten. Yep, that's going out on a limb, and you can go there with me!
No contribution is too small! A buck, a dime, $10 is fine!
