We are running the Reno Tahoe Odyssey—a 178-mile relay around Lake Tahoe—to support one of our best friends Eric Stevens in his fight against ALS.
Eric is one of my oldest childhood friends. We grew up together surfing, skateboarding, and playing sports, went through middle school and high school side by side, and have remained close ever since. Today, is no different although now our wives are great friends, and our sons are the same age.
At a time in life when most people are hitting their stride, Eric and his wife Amanda were faced with the unimaginable. Through it all, Eric has continued to inspire everyone around him with his strength and resilience.
We’re running to support AXE ALS, raise awareness, and help fund the fight against this devastating disease. Our goal is simple: honor Eric’s journey, have some fun along the way, and do our part to help bring an end to ALS.
